This One Bedroom apartment is nestled in a tree line street in Uptown Motorcity, we had the benefit of drawing the outside in by homing an indoor tree and making it the hero of the living space. The design direction was strongly focused on improving the amenities within, with the aim of increasing the apartment’s market value, through strategic design updates. These upgrades including making space for an additional shower, a European laundry niche and a small walk in closet.

The Villa

The Villa

The mono tones of the kitchen complimented the newly chosen concrete flooring, while the artwork frames the entire spread perfectly.  The trio of noir pendant lights softens this kitchen and creates a calm, soothing and harmonious aesthetic.  The Beverage zone serves as both a wine and coffee coop, making access while entertaining outdoors a breeze.  Cooking rituals are made easy by the built in small appliance cabinet facilitating powered use in situ.

The views of the Burj Khalifa from this top floor, one bedroom Meydan apartment shines through, so our designs and interiors used clean lines and finer elements, such as, subtle trims to enhance the space without over fitting it.  Brightening up the under lit bathrooms with additional down lights, painting over the grey walls (with white) and adding distinct wall murals created calm and character.  Equestrian art highlights the proximity to the world famous Meydan Racecourse.
