Terms of Service

Includes Fees, Services, Products, Refunds, Exchanges, Returns, Credit Notes and Third Party/ies Interactions

Thank you for considering Lorna O’Brien Design for your interior design needs. Please review the following terms and conditions:

1. Initial Consultation Fee

Fee Amount: The initial consultation fee for our services follows:
This consultation is designed to understand your vision, discuss your needs, and evaluate the scope of your project. For wet areas, that is kitchens, bathrooms + laundries requires a Long Consult.

1.Initial consult Standard Single Area/Room Project
1.1 Discovery call online or phone AED 350* first 30 min
1.2 In person visit AED 500* first 30min

2. Initial Long Consult In PersonTwo Areas/Rooms AED 750* first 50min

3. Additional fee per 30 min thereafter AED 250* per 30 min

*Fees are non-refundable and non-redeemable against any other services. 

2. Payment

Payment Method: The initial consultation fee is payable at the time of booking the appointment. Accepted payment methods include UAE cards and cash.

Non-Refundable Fee: Please note that the initial consultation fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the consultation takes place or if the project moves forward.

3. Booking and Cancellations

Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled based on availability. You will receive a confirmation message once your consultation is booked.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, please notify us at least 16 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your consultation fee.

4. Subsequent Services

The initial consultation fee is separate and distinct from any future services. Should you choose to engage Lorna O’Brien Design for further services, a separate service agreement outlining project fees and terms will be provided.

5. Refund, exchange and no credit terms

All our services attract a no refund, no exchange and no credit policy.

6. Returns, refunds or exchanges of
Goods bought directly from us.

1. Eligibility:

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging. Customised or personalised items are non-returnable unless there is a defect or error in the order. Timeframe: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.

2. Return Process:

To start a return, please contact us at lornaobriendesign@gmail.com
with your order number and reason for return.

We will provide instructions on how to return your item.

3. Refund Process:  Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 21 days.

4. Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or there was an error in your order.

5. Exchanges

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 2 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or exchange of the item.

7.    Third Party and Third Parties

We are not responsible in any way for goods and services provided by a Third Party, even if said party was referred or recommended by Lorna O’Brien Design.

 

8.    Third Party Exchange, Returns and Credit Notes. Delivery, Access to site, On-site storage and Exchanges of Goods and Services, follows here:

The client is responsible for all above dealings with a Third Party including the payments, access to site for quotes, delivery or installation, handling the exchange, return of goods or services, credit notes from any Third Party.  You may engage us to assist with these dealings, however, this will attract an hourly rate.

10. Confidentiality

Client Information: We respect your privacy and will treat all information shared during the consultation as confidential. We do not disclose any personal or project-related information without your consent.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

No Liability: Lorna O’Brien Design shall not be liable for any losses resulting from reliance on information provided during the consultation. All design decisions and implementations made thereafter are the responsibility of the client.

12. Governing Law

Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and any disputes arising from these terms will be handled in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

13.  Amendments

Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

By booking services, buying or working with Lorna O’Brien Design, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
